Some Pinoy oDesk contractors (including me) were asking if they can use a United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) Account to withdraw their oDesk earnings.
-The answer is yes.
Here are the details on my UCPB account.
Account Type: Regular Savings Account (ATM) - This is a personal account
Initial Deposit: PHP2,000.00

Important Reminders:
1. Make sure your UCPB Account Name is similar to your name in your
oDesk Account.
2. Provide the correct Card Number, Account Number and Card Holder(Account Name) as written on your ATM card.
Once you have your UCPB savings account, you're ready to setup your Local Funds Transfer (LFT) on oDesk. Wait for
oDesk to verify your LFT withdrawal method. It may take up to 2 days to be verified. Be patient.
After
oDesk has verified your LFT. You're ready to withdraw your earnings. Again be patient, it usually takes 2-4 business days for your withdrawals to be processed. You may inquire your balance online to avoid hustle going to ATM machines every now and then.
